This X thread really has me questioning – who wears Uniqlo? And why is it so sought after?
I have never purchased anything from Uniqlo, and I usually shop for basic pieces. So you would think Uniqlo would be a great place to go. But after my second time being in Uniqlo six years ago and trying their clothing, I realized that they do not aim for clothing with a great fit. They also don’t offer sizes that fit tall men.
Every drop they come out with is the most mediocre style, and they seem to never be able to pivot into something more exclusive. Not even a single piece that will have people talking. One X comment said “lesbian clothing for men,” which is so true – the purposely bad fit and tame colors.
And I don’t agree that any of the people in the first slide are ugly. AND, why would J.W Anderson do a Collab with them too 👀
